Canadian talent was at its peak for the return of Toronto Fashion Week (TFW). With 7 powerhouse labels on the roster, and Jean-Paul Gaultier as a main headliner, Toronto’s fashion scene was abuzz. Opening the week was Lucian Matis, who ruled the runway with sparkly dresses and floral-embellished pieces. While NARCES wowed the crowd as models strutted swoon-worthy bridal-inspired gowns and sequinned creations. The husband and wife duo behind Bustle had the notable Canadian fashion model, Stacey McKenzie, rep their cheeky line, and, on the flip side, Hayley Elsaesser brought a fun retro-like twist to the show. From cool black and white styles from UNTTLD, and House of Suri, to Pink Tartan’s fall looks, here’s a highlight of our favourite designs from TFW.
