Police officers across the province play a leadership role in organizing the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer events by involving the community in fundraising and cancer awareness activities.
Join us, and CTV’s Tom Brown (our host for the day), in Centre Court starting at 12 PM to watch and/or participate in the head shave/hair cutting event, to support us in raising funds in the fight against cancer. Registration begins at 11 AM.
Event participants collect pledges from their coworkers, friends, family, and community members. Funds raised help the Canadian Cancer Society fund the most promising research projects in the country, provide information services and support programs in the community, and advocate for public policies that prevent cancer and help those living with it.
To date, the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer program has raised more than $45 million across Canada!
