This exhibition showcases artworks produced during online art sessions organized by the Art Gallery of Mississauga and guided by trained art facilitators. These programs brought together several groups of
Seniors & Youth, representing a creative exploration and exchange between the generations.
Over Zoom, participants worked with a variety of media to explore various themes, including communication and connection, treasured objects, and conversations around the kitchen table. Familiar objects and ideas became new, and these artists were able to expand their artistic practice and ways of connecting with and supporting one another in their creative process.
This project was made possible by the New Horizons for Seniors Program Grant (NHSP), which paid for all supplies and trained art facilitators.
